One paragraph reflection on field trip to PCL
Trip to PCL was very refreshing after our long break from the easter weekend.We met with Jack in the printing lab he discussed how the modern day cameras like the iphone and samsung cameras have taken photography level to another front more like a disadvantage because you can easily edit the images or delete it.He used the word 'anticipation' to describe how photographers create the time they want to shoot before sun set or at night the anticipation to photograph is a reminder to all the photographers.Then we met with Ralph he was at the framing room he talked about the quality of the frames compared to a cheap framing done at other studios.
This was very interesting because without the frame the photograph will not really stand out not portraying its best quality basically an unfinished job but with the framing the photograph really stands out and gives definition with different types of frames available at PCL and different textures you can get at its highest quality is worth the money to preserve an image in an elongated time frame.
