WK 4 Portfolio

This weeks photoshoot materials used were mainly bubble wraps and using a black material as a robe trying to impersonate a judge. A better option to reuse your bubble wrap for as long as possible. As long as it’s not popped or deflated, you can use it when shipping your own packages or storing fragile household goods for later use. If you’re feeling creative, the Pinterest “explore” page for bubble wrap has a variety of household and craft projects you can try. If you have more than you can use, pass it along to family and friends who are moving.I want to captivate the viewers with this series of images that our every action always to leads to consequences that we should try and Recycle everything you can: all unbroken glass, some plastics, paper and cardboard, tin and aluminium cans.
Bubble wrap is usually made from polyethylene film, and like plastic grocery bags and other plastic films, it should not be added to your recycling bin because it can jam recycling machinery. However, most bubble wrap can be recycled through the same national drop-off collection program that accepts plastic bags.
My images have both portrait shots and full body shots using one main light. This was staged indoors because i wanted to focus on the materials the model was wearing so i needed a plain background so its not distracting to the viewers.some of the images have door knobs which is intensional for that particular shot and some does not have door knobs showing because i removed them on camera raw and photoshop because it did not concur with the pose.all images were edited on camera raw and photoshop.
Wasteful living is not only harmful for our beautiful environment, but it is harmful for our own personal well-being and livelihood.

Materials:bubble wraps,black material,main light,plastic

the images below i preferred it in black and white, the model is wearing bubble wraps around his head and a plastic bag which says fragile on his right hand or is worn on his chest.

FINAL IMAGE 8
I chose to use this image because of the pattern on the material which created layers infront of the image almost as if it was designed that way.  The model is wearing an empty package as a necklace, and bubble wrap around his head, the image wont be in black and white for the portfolio  i preferred it in colour. You can see shadow on the left side of the models head because the flash was placed on the right.

                                                              FINAL IMAGE 9
This image was chosen for my portfolio because of the weirdness how you can see doors closed and the models face is covered and wearing this long black coat like material around his body.I like how the image turned out because i have always like conceptual photography in which this image depicts an idea, a concept not necessarily seen or understood by the viewer.I edited this image in camera playing around with the cool tones thats why the image has a light blue coloring but for the portfolio i did not use this editing i left it simple with warm or cool tones added to the image.this was taken using a flash i tried to capture the model standing in the centre of the frame but as you can see here the model is slightly off to the left side of the frame. But i feel for this particular image placing the subject almost to the centre has created a somewhat powerful/weird pose lol obviously i was not paying attention to the rule of thirds for this image but it actually works in the end.this is a full body shot which is very different from my previous work but i wanted a variation and as seen here the doors are actually framing the subject which gives the image more depth and draws the eye to a point of interest in the image.
