What sizes are these photos? How does this affect your viewing of the work?
A4 for small and A3 for large photographs.Gives us the viewers what McAvoy has captured
What representation method has been used? how does this affect your viewing of the work?
It is displayed in white box frames so that the images are presentably fit the size of the photographs.
Are there any aspects of this presentation you would use when presenting your Portfolio this term and if so, what are they?
I like the white framing but i might change the frame colour to black or a light brown framing that might match my photographs and the spacing of the photographs which makes it easy to pick out which i also might try.Im planning to print my images preferably 5 images in A3 sizes.

‘Red Earth Reconnaissance’ is a botanical survey of the Papakura area beginning at the site of the Papakura Art Gallery and travelling outwards. 'Red earth' references the Maori name for Papakura and its soil rich in iron oxides. The botanical specimens come from and are connected to this fertile ground. The project aims to document and reframe fragments of the unique ecology of Papakura, toward a partial and poetic guide to this place and its peoples.
