WK 4 Portfolio Artist Research

Elizaveta Porodina represented by Sonja Heintschel Photographer is specialized in fashion, beauty, portrait and art photography.24 year old Elizaveta Porodina comes from Moscow, Russia, but at the moment she is based in Munich.  A part from being a fashion and conceptual photographer, Porodina is also a clinical psychologist. She has a great love of pictures, movies, light and gold in all forms.Since winning the SCREENINGS Award in 2013, the young photographer has become an even more popular face on the editorial scene. Clients appreciate her cinematic style and fresh perspective as well as her instinct for the right moment.

  What do I see?  I see a models reflection in the mirror,i see warm colours with dark purples,gold,blacks,light green,i see a headpiece on the model the golden bird on the light green desktop,reflection
What camera and compositional techniques have been used? the photographer would have taken this standing on the right side of the frame,flash was used i think placed on the right side of the models face,the model is placed on the left side of the frame
 How does this image make me feel? it makes me feel inspired for my portfolio to change the colour palette abit,its very haunting
What ideas is this photographer working with? The title of the image is called Evil Twin II i can see where the title fits in,because you can see mirroring of the model



What do I see? i see a model looking downwards to the ground looking trapped,shes wearing a head piece thats covering her face,i like the pale colours used in this image,she almost looks like shes trapped,flowers as her costume
What camera and compositional techniques have been used? this image looks like it was taken next to a window on the left side of the frame for lighting but i think flash was used because you can see flash reflections on the models head piece,the model is more to the left side of the frame,
 How does this image make me feel? i think this image is such a mystery
What ideas is this photographer working with? this was for MOSAIC // VISION MAGAZINE
